Danii O’Connor and I have been working on together musically for many, many moons. I couldn’t be more proud of this, her debut album which is out now via Bandcamp and/or wherever you stream good music. Her heartfelt songs
are honest, haunting, often short and quirky yet dripping with raw emotion.
“It’s scratchy, broken up a bit like my thoughts, twisting through the static and hiss of old answering machines. The messages left, half-clear and half-lost in the chaos. The guitar softly strummed, every note raw and distant like something left behind in a dusty attic. It’s a bit honest, a bit imperfect —a bit like me trying to make sense of things that never seem to fit. Each strum is a confession. It’s eerie and warm, haunting in the way that only something forgotten yet familiar can be. The messages, an imprint of the voice left reaching out from another time hoping someone will listen.
