🏒 RMMHA JUNIOR DEVELOPER APPLICATIONS ARE OPEN! 🏒

Do you love hockey, helping others, and being a positive role model? This could be the opportunity for you!

Our Junior Developers help introduce the game of hockey to our youngest players, ages 3–8, through the RMMHA Mini Rustlers and Junior Rustlers programs.

This is a great leadership opportunity for players who want to:
🏒 Help young players learn and grow
🙌 Be a positive role model
⭐ Build leadership skills
😊 Have fun on the ice!

Eligibility:
• Registered RMMHA player U15 or above for the 2026–27 season
• Demonstrated positive sportsmanship and leadership
• Committed to online scheduling and attending all selected sessions

Applicants can choose between:
💰 Paid: $25 per session worked
🤝 Volunteer: Minimum 10 hours to receive a volunteer service letter

Congratulations to Rustlers Alumni Brett Tomlin!

The Langley Trappers are proud to announce the commitment of Brett Tomlin (Defence-2008). Tomlin joins the Trappers from the Northeast Chiefs BCEHL program where he has spent the past three seasons. Tomlin is very responsible and agile. He’s consistently winning corner battle’s and executing zone exits. “We are excited to work with Brett this season and encourage him to get up ice and into the rush. He’s a smooth skater who plays heads up hockey which allows him to see plays unfold”—Coach Bakken.

We have confidence Tomlin will become one of the premier defensemen in the league.

Congratulations to Rustler alumni Owen O'Farrell!

The Port Moody Panthers have signed forward Owen O'Farrell for the 2026-27 Pacific Junior Hockey League season.

The 2008-born forward spent last season with the Ridge Meadows Minor Hockey Association Rustlers U18 A1 program and is the Panthers' fourth official commitment for the upcoming season.

💬 “My goals for this season are to be more physical, better defensively, and work on a quick transition with the puck. I’d like to also work on being able to get up to my top speed within a few strides,” noted O’Farrell.

Congratulations to Rustlers Alumi Haldan Freer!

COMMITMENT ALERT 🔏

The Burnaby Steelers are pleased to announce the signing of 2008-born forward Haldan Freer.

The native of Maple Ridge, BC, is set to play his first full-season with the organization after being an affiliate player last season while also playing for Ridge Meadows Minor Hockey’s U18 A1 team.

The Burnaby Steelers would like to extend a warm welcome to Haldan as he officially joins his brother in Steeltown.

We are proud to announce the commitment of Tristan McBride (F-2009) for the 2026/27 season. Tristan is a home town Ridge Meadows athlete. He is coming off two strong seasons with the RMMHA U18 A1 team. He was an AP with us this previous season and has skated with us the past few spring and summers. Tristan is a high character athlete with high hockey IQ and is offensively gifted. We are excited to have him join his home town team here in Ridge - wearing our Red, White, & Gold.
