My name is Lorraine Trulsen, and my son's name is Noah Trulsen .
In October of 2018, while playing a men's hockey game, my son passed away. He was a kind, loving, gentle giant who would help anyone when needed.
The morning before he died, he graduated from BCIT as an electrician.
In his memory, we provide 2 scholarships a year in his name. Every November, we hold a fundraiser to support this very important cause.
I am reaching out here, hoping that local businesses can support us by donating either baskets, basket items, gift cards, cash to purchase items or gift certificates for service. Many locals stepped up last year to help, and for that I am so very grateful. I know times are tough for many businesses right now, but perhaps by donating, you may gain business. We will ensure your business card is with whatever is donated.
Everyone is welcome at this community event! We have a charity hockey game that anyone can play in, a dinner, raffles and a silent auction. All the information is available on the FB Noah Trulsen Memorial Scholarship page.
I will gladly pick up, or they can be dropped off at Bell Locksmith on 224th.
