Our unexpected little houseguest this morning! 🐦💕

I was sitting at the computer working on paperwork from my physio and massage appointments when I heard a bird chirping. I remember thinking, “That bird sounds awfully close!” 😄

I looked over toward the front window, and there was this sweet little chickadee inside the house! It perched on my Christmas cactus, visited the light fixture, and even stopped on the blinds while it figured out how to get back outside.

I quietly removed the window screens, gave it plenty of space, and before long it found its way safely back into the trees. 🥰

Since today is my daughter Sarah’s birthday, I couldn’t help but smile and think of this little visitor as a tiny happy birthday messenger. 🤗💞

Happy Father’s Day to the best dad in the whole wide world. ❤️

Looking through these photos reminds me how lucky we are. Through so many chapters of our lives, one little furry girl has become such a big part of our family. Molly brings joy wherever she goes, loves us unconditionally, and somehow makes every day a little brighter. We love you, sweet girl. 🐾💕
