Did you guys watch Daredevil Born Again Episode 1 and 2? Well we did and here are our thoughts:

It’s a strong start to the season, clearly establishing itself as different from the Netflix show while still picking up on certain plot lines and ideas from said show.
An incredible opening to the first episode helps set up the story in a direction I didn’t really expect, but welcomed.

The pacing moves a lot quicker than the original show with certain scenes not having time to breath, with new storylines being introduced and resolutions coming quicker than expected.

One change I’ve been enjoying is the way daredevil’s powers are shown, as I really like the way they’re portraying Daredevil’s radar sense, with cool camera work and editing to really give it a cool comic like feel. The acrobatic movement is also a great new addition, even if the CGI is a little noticeable, as Daredevil is supposed to be a character who keeps up with Spider-Man’s webslinging.

The courtroom aspect of the show is something I always enjoy watching, and it is clear that this season will not stray away from it. Disney is clearly not pulling any punches with this show, and aren’t afraid to make it violent, and gritty like the original show, with action and fights that don’t hold back.

Safe to say I really enjoyed the first two episodes and can’t wait to see the direction the rest of the season goes, here’s hoping that they nail the rest of the story, unlike the other lackluster finales some of the other MCU shows have brought. Let us know your thoughts in the comments below!
