What a night to remember!

We had the opportunity to check out by the amazing over at

What an incredible documentary that not only shows a side of the Cannes Film Festival that we don't normally see, but it also gives us an intimate view of the Troma Team... Or should I say, Troma Family and how this Indie Film Studio continues to survive through the ingenuity and passion of their team and fans.

We had the opportunity to speak with and her sisters Lisbeth and Charlotte about Occupy Cannes and Troma, and they are absolutely spectacular people! We enjoyed talking with them so much! Incredibly down to Earth! We cannot wait to follow their careers!

We also had the opportunity to meet the legendary . Speaking as Paolo, his films, have made such a huge impact on my life and I cannot even begin to describe how much I adore Troma and how much I adore The Toxic Avenger. My excitement to meet Lloyd Kaufman was at an all time high. I could have met Jesus Christ himself, and I wouldn't have been half as excited as I was to meet and talk to Lloyd. He graciously signed my original Toxic Avenger poster and VHS tape!

Last and certainly not least, we had the opportunity to meet a horror icon! You may know her from Terrifier, it's - she is a wonderful human being and incredibly well spoken! We loved talking to her! We cannot wait to see every movie you're in!

A huge thanks to for introducing us to both Catherine and the Troma folks, and giving us a grand introduction to them! We were also happy to help you film your interviews!

Once again, Fantasia Film Festival is THE place to be to support the arts. Now more than ever is it important to help out and support the little guy! Make your voices heard! Make movies! There's a couple more days left for Fantasia Festival, so take advantage while you can! Or else you're gonna have to wait til next year!

Another time well spent at

Last night, we had the opportunity to share the auditorium with the legendary and watch him receive a Lifetime Achievement award for his work across decades of film!

The impact he has made on Scoring films is truly incredible and there is no one else like him working today. Themes and music he composed many years ago still hold strong relevance and they are close to many people's hearts.

We also wanna thank Fantasia staff for giving us a copy of Bullet Time on Vinyl that was signed by Danny Elfman! That was an incredible surprise! We hope we weren't too awkward when we received it hahah

For the highlight of the night, we got to see Bullet Time and Nightmare Before Christmas! We have some reels coming soon on both, but man, Bullet Time by was INSANE in the best way possible. 90s Cartoon Lunacy dialed up to 11! Cannot wait to see more of Bullet and whatever wacky hijinks he gets into!

Another day well spent at !

The Ref Point Podcast had the opportunity to check out "I am Frankelda", a Guillermo Del Toro approved Mexican animated film about a young writer and her "spooky" imagination.

It is literally one of the best movies we saw so far and quite possibly Paolo's favourite movie of the year! You all should check it out when you can! It would be a disservice not to go!

We met up with to check out The Battle Wizard - a wacky Kung Fu movie with Martial Arts and Star Wars esque lasers. The movie is from the Shaw Brothers in Hong Kong and it is by far the craziest Kung Fu movie we had ever seen!

We also paid a visit to the wonderful people at who had a booth and were selling movies! We got a huge haul of films and an unboxing coming soon!

Once again, a big thanks to for letting us cover tonight! Everyone, please go see a movie at Fantasia, there are still 2 weeks of cinematic bliss to check out!
