Dan Snakehead: The Unlikely Catalyst of Change and Energy

These pursuits are deeply rooted in the original tenets of PLUR (Peace, Love, Unity, Respect) that first inspired him during his formative years in the late 90s.

He has earned the respect and support of renowned festivals including Shamballa, Burning Man, and Electric Love and most recently INIT, along with countless others. Yet, it is his commitment to uplifting local and global up-and-comers, particularly within the LGBTQ2S+ community, that truly sets him apart. His unapologetic influence simply refuses to fade away, continuing to inspire those around him.
One of Dan’s proudest achievements is founding Nocturnal Emissions in 2009, Canada’s premier Drum & Bass radio broadcast since 2020. This platform has gained global recognition and united listeners from all walks of life, forging connections among strangers and creating a lasting legacy in music and community building.
