The 46th annual Terry Fox Run is happening Sunday, September 20th in Prince Rupert!
Run, walk, roll, or ride and come out to support a great cause in partnership with Northern Savings Credit Union.
This is a free event with no minimum entry fee, though donations are always encouraged.

Witches on Water ✨

Calling all witches, warlocks, kayakers, canoeists, SUPers and Dinghy enthusiasts! Join Hometown Holistics and Ashley Pimlott for a magical day on the water at Lakelse Lake.

Bring your own watercraft, paddles, PFD, water bottle and a change of clothes, then get ready for an afternoon of paddling, community and a little bit of magic.

There will be local vendors, photography, a warm fire, hot chocolate and prizes, with admission by donation. Families, friends and all ages are welcome!

The event is also raising $2,500 for the Harmony Hands Healing Centre to purchase yoga equipment, including bolsters and blocks, helping expand movement-based wellness initiatives in the community.

Weather permitting, the group will take to the lake for some paddling. Please note that all paddlers will be required to sign a waiver upon arrival.

Vendors and sponsors are also wanted! Organizers are looking for vendors, food and beverage sponsors, prize contributors, a photography sponsor, and someone to supply firewood and kindling.

Echoes of Smithers 2 is coming to Smithers!

Get ready for a night of music, dancing, connection and community at Glenwood Hall on Friday, September 18, 2026, as Echoes of Smithers returns for another late-night celebration.

From 8:30 PM through 3:00 AM, the dance floor will be moving with a full lineup of DJs and performers.

When the late-night cravings kick in, The Cold Cow ice cream food truck will also be there to take care of those sweet tooths.

Come dance, meet new people, reconnect with old friends, get a little weird, laugh, move and enjoy the music. Camping is available after the event, so bring a tent, van or whatever you need to make yourself comfortable and make a night of it.

Bring your own food and water, warm clothes for those chilly mountain nights, camping gear if you’re staying overnight, games, costumes and whatever else helps you enjoy the night. Don’t forget garbage bags for your own waste. Help keep the hall and surrounding area beautiful by packing out what you bring in and cleaning up after yourself.
