I’m still in shock. But also deeply, deeply grateful.
Last Friday, I went in for a routine heart angiogram. For the past two months, I had been feeling chest tightness and shortness of breath when working out — but everything else looked great. My weight, glucose, blood pressure, cholesterol — all solid.
At 50, I was honestly feeling pretty damn good.
Until the angiogram turned into a nightmare.
The doctors found three fully blocked arteries — maybe more. Within minutes, I was rushed by ambulance to Trillium Hospital in Mississauga for emergency quintuple bypass surgery.

I’m writing this message to let you know I'm on the mend and healing🙏
I have so much more to say — but right now, I just need time to recover.
All my DJ bookings for the Summer 2025 have been canceled so I can fully focus on healing, resting, and preparing for this unexpected but beautiful second chance at life.
