Opening night game recap from Japan's B.League:

The reigning champion Brex, who outhustled and outmuscled the Alvark, led for nearly the entire B.League game, which was held at the new Toyota Arena Tokyo.

Latasha Lattimore 6'5", 22, F from Toronto, Ontario, and one of Canada’s top basketball prospects. she rose to prominence as the No. 1 Canadian recruit in the class of 2021 and was ranked among the top 40 players in North America. Lattimore starred at Royal Crown Academic School and helped Crestwood Prep win back-to-back OSBA championships before moving to the NCAA.

Her college career includes stints with Texas, Miami, and most recently Virginia, where she averaged 14.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 2.2 blocks per game in the 2024–25 season. Known for her versatility, shot-blocking, and ability to score inside and out, she recently won 2025 globljam championship with Team Canada and is considered a future cornerstone for the senior national team.
