For over 25 years, I have created and presented a slideshow for the Dawson Creek Royal Canadian legion. I have since moved to Woking, Alberta.
I will be presenting a slideshow at the Spirit River Remembrance Day Service of Veterans who has served from the Alberta Peace area. I have received from the Spirit River legion all the names and photos from their collection and are included in the 2025 Remembrance Day presentation. I want to invite anyone that has a family member or relative who has served, and would like it added to the slide show, please reach out to [email protected]
This slide is a photo of Private John Kerr, only 1 of 73 Canadians to receive the Victoria Cross, and lived in Spirit River.
