Trying LUXURY… 😮‍💨 🎧

I’ve been putting the Bang & Olufsen Beoplay H100s through a REAL music test… and these headphones have been an experience.

Instead of just listening to one playlist, I wanted to hear how they handled completely different eras and genres.

🎸 Rock • guitars feel wide, detailed and alive. You can really pick up the separation between the instruments instead of everything fighting for space.

🪩 Disco • this might be one of my favourite tests. The basslines, strings, percussion and vocals have room to breathe, and that extra detail makes those classic records feel incredibly energetic.

📀 Throwbacks going back through older R&B, Hip-Hop and some of the songs I grew up with has probably been the most fun. There are little background elements and textures in familiar records that suddenly stand out.

🧊 Drake’s ICEMAN then I brought things back to Toronto. The production, low end and atmospheric elements gave me a chance to hear what the H100s can do with a more modern sound.

But what has impressed me isn’t just the sound.

The Beoplay H100 is Bang & Olufsen’s flagship over-ear headphone, with custom 40mm titanium drivers, Dolby Atmos with head tracking, adaptive active noise cancellation and a Transparency mode for when you actually want to hear what’s happening around you.

And as somebody who can spend a LONG time listening to music, comfort matters too.

The premium materials, lambskin leather ear cushions and overall build make these feel just as focused on the experience of wearing them as the experience of listening.

They’ve basically had me going through my music library asking

“Wait… has that always been in the song?” 😂

That’s one of my favourite things a great pair of headphones can do make music you already know feel worth exploring again.
