In Helsinki, the conversations drew in people from across the production chain asking the right questions: not just what's possible, but what makes sense for their specific environments. Lars von Oertzen from Skyline Communications NV brought valuable perspective on how DataMiner fits into the bigger picture, connecting systems and enabling orchestration across increasingly complex production environments.

In Tallinn, the appetite for understanding how modern IP infrastructures can simplify day-to-day operations was just as strong, with plenty of honest discussion about where the real challenges lie.

What happens when a church serving 10,000 congregants every weekend outgrows its audio system?

That's the challenge Jordan Brainard, Audio Director at Calvary Chapel Chino Hills (CA), faced. Three Sunday services. A Wednesday night service. Memorial services, Bible studies, live streaming. Six days a week, every week.

When Jordan and his team set out to replace their aging system, the brief was clear: broadcast-grade sound quality, rock-solid redundancy, and intuitive enough for volunteers to mix with confidence.

Grass Valley and Lawo today announced a technology collaboration focused on validating orchestration, control, and media exchange integration between Grass Valley AMPP and Lawo HOME.

The collaboration is aligned with GrassValleyLive and Lawo’s open system approaches and supports the industry direction established by the EBU’s Dynamic Media Facility (DMF) initiative and the co-supported Media eXchange Layer (MXL) project.

For customers, the collaboration is intended to bring increased value by reducing integration friction, improving deployment confidence and accelerating the practical adoption of open, dynamic media facilities. Rather than creating another closed ecosystem, the focus is on validating the orchestration and interoperability patterns required for multi-vendor media operations to work at scale.
