Waves Immersive Audio Integration in Lawo mc² Consoles 🔊

With the new Waves Audio SuperRack V15 and its Immersive Wrapper plugin, mono Waves plugins can now be used in immersive formatslike 5.1.4, 7.1.4, and 9.1.4.

Thanks to full integration into Lawo mc² consoles, engineers have direct access to Waves’ legendary processing tools right from the console surface – including snapshot recall and intuitive parameter control.

CPAC is the perfect example of a broadcaster that fully comprehends the importance of cutting-edge technology for smooth and effective operation. When the team decided to overhaul its facility, they first looked at what was available on the market, with a special focus on what would allow them to maximize their efficiency and remain on-budget for years to come.

The migration to IP was a given, but so were software-defined, hardware-agnostic audio and video processing on COTS servers. Starting and stopping apps as needed for the task at hand—an agile workflow referred to as the "Dynamic Media Facility"—immediately appealed to the team. Mit großer Bestürzung haben wir vom frühen und unerwarteten Tod von Georg Burdicek erfahren. Als Gründer von tonzauber war er nicht nur ein herausragender Klanggestalter, sondern auch ein sensibler Künstler mit höchstem Anspruch an Qualität.
Über viele Jahre verband uns eine enge Zusammenarbeit, in der Georg unsere Technologien mit einzigartigem Gespür für Klang und Musikalität einsetzte. Seine Aufnahmen, zuletzt in seinem Recording-Wagen, zeugen von dieser besonderen Mischung aus technischer Präzision und künstlerischem Feingefühl.
