What an evening for theme park music! In the sold-out Grand Broadcasting Hall of the NDR in Hannover, soundtracks from and other amusement and theme parks were performed live by the & .der.leibniz.universitaet for the first time in this form. Around 1200 guests experienced how familiar sound worlds from parks, attractions, and immersive experience environments became a grand orchestral journey - a powerful sign of the emotional significance these soundtracks have long held for many people.
We are especially pleased to see the connection to 2112 STUDIOS: the works performed originate from earlier compositions by Sebastian Kübler and Andreas Kübler. As early as the blue fire Megacoaster, Europa-Park and Michael Mack worked closely with the Kübler brothers. Today, Sebastian Kübler is Lead Composer at 2112 STUDIOS, the in-house music studio of MACK One, whose clients include not only theme parks but also hotels and well-known artists.
The evening impressively showed that music in theme parks does not merely accompany moments - it shapes memories, creates identity, and fills major concert halls.
