Once upon a time, a Romanian man named Bogdan crossed the mountains into Switzerland in search of something, though even he couldn’t quite name it. By chance, he settled near a young record store called Legram Vinyl Garden, where he stumbled upon exactly what he never knew he was missing.

Between long digs and countless unforgettable gatherings, the Bogdan sound began to take shape, growing into an almost untameable yet undeniably magnificent beast.

This EP gathers our favourite Bogdan tunes from a lost but never forgotten time, now preserved both in plastic and in our memories. A timeless collection of raw, flavourful creatures, each one alive in its own way.

Two unreal gigs, two tragic breakdowns, and one van full of tunes.

After flapping around up North waiting for the van to be fixed, we somehow made it back to Lyon for 44 hour round trip. Love it ❤️

The VG TV is on! 📺⚡️
A long-time friend of the shop, Pietro Bernasconi aka Pitt, passed through Lyon the other week for a catch-up, so we used the occasion to finally get the cameras rollin’.

Those who know this beautiful, curly-haired Italian and his level behind the decks know he likes to sit quietly under the radar. Not quite the same for the label he co-runs, which has become one of the most consistent and quietly influential labels coming out of Italy.

This was recorded on a quiet morning before opening hours just the two of us in the shop, and some quality house music.

This marks the start of something we’ve been meaning to do for a while, capturing moments like these in the record store and sharing them through video.

Follow our YT channel for weekly VG TV drops bringing you selectors of all flavours, playing the shop however they like. Sometimes it’s a mellow one before we open, sometimes an evening in-store session full of bodies, and sometimes it’s just us during a late-night lock-in. We try to create the best possible situation for each guest to get stuck in!
