First Cut Lab Poland is back!

We're excited to launch a new edition in partnership with the Warsaw Film Foundation and the Polski Instytut Sztuki Filmowej.

This program will offer participants fresh perspectives on their projects during unique onsite workshops, giving them feedbacks both artistically and from an international market perspective.

Congratulations to both filmmakers and everyone who helped bring these films to the screen!

If you're working on a feature in post-production, the next First Cut Lab Paris will take place from December 7 to 11, 2026. Applications open October 1st and close October 23rd. We look forward to discovering the next generation of films.

FIRST CUT LAB CANADA 2027: CALL FOR APPLICATIONS!

For the third year, First Cut Lab and Telefilm Canada are launching their call for First Cut Lab Canada 2027 workshop. Applications are now open for Canadian feature films in their editing phase — follow in the steps of past participants like Jorge Thielen Armand, whose DEATH HAS NO MASTER was selected at Cannes 2026.

The online workshop runs from October 10, 2026 to March 31, 2027. Participants will screen their rough cuts in private sessions and receive expert feedback from three international industry advisors and a consultant editor.
