We first heard KOBAIEN through the underground circuit in Paris — a producer who came up alongside Gesaffelstein before going his own way and building Gigante Records from the ground up.
“DO WANT PLAY” is the kind of track that tells you everything about where he’s been. Hypnotic arps, a bassline that sits in your chest, and a vocal that sounds like someone talking themselves into something they already know they’re going to do. Patience over aggression. Space over noise.
