Francesco Puppi a terminé 2e de la Western States (13 h 51) fin juin à l’occasion de son premier 100 miles. Le coureur italien revient sur sa course et ses impressions, lui qui, comme le top 3, a couru sous la barre des 14 h de course.
L’athlète Hoka, rencontré à l’occasion d’un camp de la marque à Saint-Gervais (Haute-Savoie), donne aussi son point de vue sur sa traversée de la rivière, ainsi que le dépassement effectué en fin de course par son coéquipier et futur vainqueur (et nouveau détenteur du record) Vincent Bouillard.
Capable de performer sur des formats 50 km, 100 km et 100 miles, Francesco Puppi, qui vit près du Lac de Côme en Italie, nous explique sa relation avec ces distances, lui qu’on pourrait voir sur l’OCC fin août à Chamonix.

Francesco Puppi finished 2nd of Western States (13 h 51) for the best debutant time on this race. The italian runner, who, as the top 3, ran under 14 hours, gives his impressions on the race.
The Hoka athlete who lives near lake Como (Italy), met during a camp of his sponsor in France, gives is point of view about the Rucky Chucky river crossing and Vincent Bouillard passing him at the end of the race.
Francesco Puppi is now able to perform on 50 km, 100 km and 100 miles. He tells us which distance he would prefer. He might be running OCC in Chamonix at the end of august.
