Another photo I drew on my Ipad using procreate. I learned, I am not really fond of drawing greenery. Drawing each person made me smile. I still cant decide if I should outline or not. I did here but the hands are a bit awkward. This tested my patience but I think I am ready for another project. This was fun, no mess to clean up, and made my daughter want to join in and colour!

A couple of days in Lake Como with a few of my closest friends/family here in UK. I certainly wouldn’t have lasted the last 12 years without them. This is why female friendships are so important! They are my source of comfort, support and strength.

And you don’t need a “nice” handwriting either! Just a dip pen, a nib, ink and smooth paper. You can even use just a pen/pencil and paper too! For dip pen calligraphy, these are the products I swear by to start.

An inexpensive /oblique pen
Nikko G or Leonardt do 30
Sumi Ink
Rhodia Pad.

And thats it! You can start with these and get fancier stuff once you progress. I still use all of them when I practice because they are all reliable and perfect for learning.
