DJ Sid’s Britonic Backup
Hey there, I’m DJ Sid, host of one of the most electric indie shows on the south coast: The Britonic Boom!
Here’s a bit of background on me.
I’ve been into music since I was a young lad. I used to dig through my dad’s record collection and discovered some incredible bands early on, including New Fast Automatic Daffodils, the S*x Pistols, Sleaford Mods, Oasis and the Beatles.
As someone with a severe sight impairment, Music means a lot to me. It’s more than just sound, it’s how I experience energy, emotion, and connection.
I’m always buying CDs, going to live gigs, crate digging at local indie record shops, and constantly discovering new music. I love finding new sounds and sharing them with listeners. I went to my first Punk gig when I was 9.
As a DJ, I cover a wide range of music, from 90s Indie to 60s rock and roll to modern fresh grassroot Indie and everything epic in between. My aim is to keep things fresh, exciting, and full of energy.

Meet The Team #8 DJ Tempest - Stormy Beats Saturdays 9pm

Meet the team. DJay Tempest, Jason Green. I have been dj-ing on and off since I was 18 years old, started with family parties and then my friend Matt and I were “guns for hire” for a few years, providing our services as Mobile Jocks to the general population. I’ve always had a huge connection to music since I was a wee toddler being dressed in tartan like a Bay City Roller by my parents, u would always find me near the record player popping 45’s or 33’s on to lighten up the mood.

Fast forward quite a few years and I’m now back doing what I love the most, after 13 years of amateur dramatics and singing and acting on stage I decided to get back into dj-ing in the digital world and began live streaming on TikTok and put into practice what I had learned back in the early noughties when mixing with CDs and learning the art of beatmatching and gained a respectable following on there, making some amazing friends and fellow dj’s who will be a part of my life for a long time to come. I’m passionate about musical theatre and Wicked! Is my all time favourite but am partial to Lloyd Webber, sondheim etc as well. If u can sing to it, I’ll give it a whirl.
Club culture was where it was at for me and so all things Dance with four to the floor beat hold a place in my heart, from trance and edm to all sub genres of house music and disco, you will find I play them all. Mash ups and remixed versions of some pop classics to keep all ages engaged.

Dj by night, Internal sales rep by day, my priorities are family first, then music, then work!

Long term mental health sufferer and trauma survivor, music has saved my life on more than one occasion and I am honoured to be able to share my experiences and love of music with the BRR family.
Stormy Beats is a nod to my dj name and yes it is also part of my given birth name and one I am proud of.

Wayne is the driving force behind the fabulously energetic Dirty Pop radio show, bringing listeners a monthly mix of dancefloor classics, guilty pleasures, remixes, club anthems, and pure pop chaos. Proudly gay and always celebrating individuality, Wayne’s love for iconic artists like Madonna, the Spice Girls, and all things retro-pop shines through in every show, packed with feel-good energy, camp fun, and massive singalong moments.
Known for his creative flair and larger-than-life imagination, Wayne doesn’t just play music — he creates an experience. From themed extravaganzas and disco-inspired specials to eye-catching promo artwork and nostalgic throwback vibes, every show is bursting with personality.

By day, Wayne works within the NHS as a dental nurse in Special Care Dentistry, supporting patients with additional needs and helping make dental visits as comfortable and positive as possible. His caring nature, patience, and warm personality shine just as brightly in the clinic as they do behind the microphone.

Away from the studio, Wayne is a passionate designer, pop culture lover, and master of creating professional-looking CD and vinyl artwork inspired by classic record shop releases. He’s also known for his wicked sense of humour, attention to detail, and ability to turn any ordinary evening into a full-on party.

Hey BRR family. Something very special is happening at Bognor Radio Respect at 7pm. PJ's 80's Heaven Show will be in it's new slot of 7pm but that's not the thing. For the very first time it will not only be live via the station but you will also be able to WATCH live on Twitch.tv/DJpeej The All New 80's Heaven Video Show will be playing the original videos of each song along with those classic 80's TV ad breaks evoking the most wonderful nostalgia.

Not only can you now listen to Bognor Radio Respect you can now watch it live just like we all did back in the 80's on MTV. Jon - Saturday Breakfast Show 9am-11am

As requested: Jon H, presenter of the Saturday Breakfast Show on Bognor Radio Respect, has enjoyed a lifelong passion for music and entertaining audiences. His journey began spinning records at school discos before moving into mobile DJ work for weddings, birthdays, and major events. Born in Worcester, Jon later built his reputation in the nightclub scene across the West Midlands, working alongside live acts and developing the energetic style that listeners know today. A successful application for a Redcoat role saw him relocate to Pwllheli, where he quickly became the resident nightclub DJ at The Neptune Bar — affectionately known as “The Neppy.” During his time there, he also co-hosted an afternoon radio-style show across the holiday park site with his longtime friend Zippy (Tony Filer).

After later moving to Sheffield to continue working in nightclubs, Jon eventually headed south to take on a role as Entertainment Manager at a holiday park. Now based in Littlehampton, he found the perfect opportunity to combine his love of music, broadcasting, and community support through Bognor Radio Respect. As host of the Saturday Breakfast Show, Jon brings listeners a mix of classic memories, uplifting entertainment, and light-hearted fun, while proudly supporting the station’s focus on mental health and wellbeing.

Hey Guys, I'm DJ Polly and the host of your Sunday Funday Brunch Show- every Sunday 11-12 on Bognor Radio Respect.

Growing up, music was always important in our household...ELO, ABBA, The Beatles, Pop, Rock.....it didn't matter as long as we could sing along, it was enjoyed! The 1980s were a great decade to grow up in.
My home is never quiet & runs on laughter, love and all genres of music.
For many years i worked as Air Cabin Crew, then managed a Travel Agency before moving to retail...customer service and being helpful is in my blood!
A lover of coffee, Books, animals and all things Disney I try to spread a bit of positivity, kindness and cheer wherever I go.

One thing is always certain...wherever I am, you can be certain a bit of amusing chaos isn't far behind me
