As the warmer weather is with us - we really need Sun cream and water for our guests in addition to our regular needs.

We are also in need of men and women’s toiletries:

Shampoo, conditioner, deodorant, toothpaste

We also still really need tins of food too - meat, beans, fish, potatoes, veg, fruit and custard!

There are donation bins in Morrisons and Lidl Devizes or can be dropped at our centre between our opening hours;

Monday 11-2
Wednesday 9-12
Thursday 11-2

Clothing wise, shorts and t-shirts are appreciated.

Connect Wiltshire is a free drug and alcohol service dedicated to supporting individuals on their journey to recovery through personalised care and expert guidance.

Did you know that Connect are one of our partner services which can be accessed at our centre every Thursday 11am-2pm.

You don’t need an appointment to attend, please do pop by if you’d like advice or support with addiction.

Good article about ending youth homelessness by providing opportunities and understanding the barriers faced by so many young people 👇🏼

Reading the online news at the weekend I was struck by an article on the BBC website.

Last week we laid on ‘Emergency First Aid in the Workplace’ Training provided by Wiltshire First Aid Training. It was a really great course and we now have 12 qualified first aiders in our organisation.

We are also running ‘Catastrophic Bleed Training” for our staff and volunteers.

Other training our volunteers and staff will undertake this year include Safeguarding, Equality Diversity and Inclusion, Naloxone Training, Food Safety amongst others.
