We are literally about to begin something truly wholesome and special for the courtyard I’m trying to tease this wisteria around - I’m too stingy to buy a new wisteria (and too scared to plant another) so taking advantage of the vigour of the one we already have seem eminently sensible.
Yes the before shots were astonishingly impressive, but, please let me attempt to persuade you all was not what it seemed. The vine hadn’t been tender to properly for decades and was making a break into the roof. We felt we had to take it back and we don’t regret it.
The telescopic secateurs are the only reason I’m able to do this pruning without injuring myself horribly. They’re wonderful. And it looks like we’ll be getting a second flush right around the time works on the courtyard begin proper.

ad Curiosity killed the cat, but, we wanted to know what anxiety did to the dog.
As Ratty is so small, she can get missed by systems not geared up to identify her majesty specifically.
Simple cameras for one’s home are one thing, but, our research led us to and the extremely clever AI Informed pet detection, loud noise detection and 4k clarity that goes into their C6N G1 4K model - and means we know if she isn’t have the funnest time whilst we’re out and about.

As Amazon Prime Day is between 23rd and 26th June - set a reminder to pick up this nifty piece of kit.

Did I mention that Alex’s love language is staying in luxury hotels? No?
Well, it may surprise no one to learn that we did not spend the tail end of May half term in our decaying home, but rather chose to cripple our renovation ambitions by staying in one of England’s finest Georgian country houses -
It is iconic, not just for its staggering symmetry, but also because it invites you to experience life inside such a hallowed institution.
The recharge was desperately needed, and effortlessly achieved. We will be back. With the dog.

Ad | We spent the last few days of half term at the iconic - and, it is with real pride that we’re able to share that Cliveden and have invited us to be ambassadors for the hotel itself.

A stay at this unique English country house is multi-dimensional and we can’t wait to share more with you about the building, the grounds, the history and experience of staying at one of England’s grandest hotels.

There will be so much to see and please rest assured we’ll show and share all our favourite parts of Cliveden and the 357 acre estate on which the house sits.

Soft blushes and peachy pinks, warmth, texture and coziness - the childhood bedroom I always dreamt of giving Ottilie.

The Lochlan Trundle bed in wavy pink gingham is truly what little girls dreams are made of - we were thrilled when wanted to work together to create this space for Ottie and I’m waiting for a ‘mummy and me’ sleep over invite any day now 🎉💕🤭
