Thereā€™s something about a family holiday that feels infinitely more restful when everything is taken care of. We booked our Corfu escape with British Airways Holidays, meaning flights, hotel and all the important details were wrapped up in one booking ā€” giving us more time to concentrate on the important bit: switching off.
Sun-soaked days, long lunches, swims in the Ionian Sea and some much-needed family time. Rest and relaxation, assured. šŸ¤

Ad The summer has been busy. Five years in the making and before you come for me, yes we have listed building consent for all the relevant wall and tree related destruction.
We will go into more detail about precisely we chose to work with on this project - and there are many reasons, but, suffice it to say that a phobia of the potential for rot, given how very well this shady hole was, was an overriding factor. Then there is upkeep and the sustainability credentials (95% recycled bottles, yes thatā€™s right) and it was a clear decision.

and we have worked with before, but we will bring you a much deeper dive in the coming weeks. Likewise - and we have saved a little reveal for a later video.

The first episode of HOUSE CALLS - thank you everyone who messaged in, I picked at random and as I was editing this I realised I couldā€™ve also talked about back splash tiles (perhaps a swap to a soft cotton colour Zellige) and paint colour (perhaps School House White by F&B). Anyhow, what do you think? What would you change in this kitchen? Such personal spaces, for me itā€™s about warmth, cosiness, social/family time and inviting that let conversation while cooking.
