When you reticulate silver, you heat it in a way that brings the fine silver .999 to the top of the metal and it creates an organic piece.

I have lots of gathering of tools etc to do this week in preparation for the Little Rosebud Festival at the weekend.

Tilly Rose - Textile Artist has held this for 3 years at Springfield Farm Campsite and it’s a wonderful event.

Do you remember the lily pad I made which was part of a water fountain? Well I’ve made the Lily now and it’s nearly ready for delivery.

The copper part was easy, this aluminium flower & attaching it to the stem, was the brain itch part. I ended up going to my dad’s workshop and finding the tools/things that would work for the purpose I needed. Yes that is a guard from a grinder being used as a tool between two hammers to created a convex shape.

I’ll post a video with more detail but for now here it is (with the full length pipe because I don’t know how long the customer wants it)
