The problem with making birthday gifts is, I can’t post them until they’ve been received.

This was a new design for me, a round wire bangle with special initials stamped around the edge. This gave it a lovely flower shape.

Gratefully received and cherished already.

Now the warmer weather is peeking through, I’ve been inspired to get into the studio again. I was given free rein with the design of a bangle so I added a flattened twist to the outside of the plain bangle. It was fiddly to line up and solder, but has turned out well (photo of finished piece to follow soon).

I also made a pair of sugar tongs into a bangle for a lady who I am working on some others pieces for. They are bigger projects which require planning and precision. 🧡

I’ll do another chatty update soon.

Apologies for the dodgy filming. This was an Iona Cross pendant, the owner wanted to be able to wear it as a brooch or a pendant. I formed and attached a pin and a catch for it. They were very happy with the end result, & so was I 🧡

Part 4… Hope you enjoyed today’s minis series. Once the piece has been polished etc, I’ll drop a picture for you all.

Important things to remember. 🧡Measure twice, cut once. 🧡Wear your PPE. 🧡Have fun.

Part 3…. I think that’s a good place to end this video 🤭

I love the silver glitter, it’s the finest of them all.
