2024 is the most difficult year so far. I've been thinking a lot. Should I cry online, or just show the good and the beautiful? Well, certainly not! Let's be real, that's who I am and that's who I'll stay!
I have had the least parties in 24' in my career so far, but I remember the really good ones without exception!
Let's not talk about the reasons yet,but in 25' I'll talk openly, what I think the problem is! I cry with one eye and laugh with the other, that my parties abroad were better than the local ones…
I have regular mixes on Radio1, but the international business is better! My weekly show, NEXUS Recordings Radio Show, is on 30+ radio stations in 25+ countries with 4M+ monthly listens, while my monthly mix, House Club Set, is on 50 radio stations in nearly 30 countries with 3M+ monthly listens 🤷♂️ And all my weekly shows are TOP10 on Hearthis.at and ITunes.
In '24 I also had a full year for my label NEXUS Recordings, with stable sales in the Beatport HYPE Tech House, Dance / Electro Pop category, in the TOP100 all year. My own compositions and collaborations with 1 or 2 exception all in the Beatport TOP100 list, but somehow Spotify didn't explode in ‘24 unfortunately. We put most of our work into the MOL Campus Sky Deck mix at the end of the year, but we've also experimented with our LIVE ACT formation, which also did well on the Plázs! Btw we also had extreme parties,on trains and buses, in addition to clubs and festivals, which was awesome!
At 2024 I faced betrayal, the break-up of my family, dozens of disappointments.
After a period of being knocked to the floor, I got up, shook myself and started to build on a stronger foundation in a much more deliberate way. I am happy with my partner, who is also my best friend and wingman!
Cliché but true, when one door closes, another one opens.
