Duliajan Pays Last Tribute to Zubeen Garg at Old Bus Stand

Duliajan, September 23: The heart of Duliajan stood still today as people from every corner of the town gathered at the Old Bus Stand to pay their last respects to Assam’s beloved musical icon, Zubeen Garg.

From early morning, the bus stand turned into a sea of emotions as residents, fans, and well-wishers came together in a day-long tribute. A live funeral display was organized at the venue, where people offered prayers and flowers in memory of the legendary singer.

As dusk fell, thousands lit candles in front of Zubeen’s image, their glowing flames reflecting the deep sorrow and respect of the people. The atmosphere was filled with songs of Zubeen, tears, and silent prayers, marking a collective farewell from Duliajan to the "Heart of Assam."
