As many have asked one common question regarding PAN Card about why only father name is used to apply the PAN application instead of husband for a married women?
Ans:-Only father name can be used in PAN application as the PAN card only indicates Father name along with individual name on it.

It is assumed a reason for such rule that as pan card is issued to an individual only once in a life time( only One Permanent account number is issued to an individual in his life time, if card is lost can be re applied for the card but on the same number only ) only father name is used in application and Display on card as to avoid allowing the applicants from applying twice using father name and husband name on separate occasions.

Such loop holes were one of the many reasons for duplicate voter ids being present in India.

IT dept. might have made this rule to avoid such loop holes in PAN application process. Further it is an act of illegal to apply twice or more PAN card by one individual and is liable to be punished under Section 272B of IT Act by Assessing Officer.

National Database of Unorganised Workers

e-Shram, an initiative of the Ministry of Labour and Employment, is a step towards building the Aadhaar Authenticated Comprehensive National Database of Unorganized Workers (NDUW), working in the country.

National Informatics Centre (NIC) as a technology partner has designed the e-Shram portal for optimum recognition of employability and to benefit from the social security schemes. It is the first-ever national database of unorganised workers including migrant workers, construction workers, etc.

Objectives of eShram Portal

Creation of a centralized database of all unorganized workers (UWs) including Construction Workers, Migrant Workers, Gig and Platform workers, Street Vendors, Domestic Workers, Agriculture Workers, etc., to be seeded with AadhaarTo improve the implementation efficiency of the social security services for the unorganized workers and integration of Social Security Schemes meant for UWs being administered by MoLE and subsequently those run by other ministries as wellSharing of information in respect of registered unorganised workers with various stakeholders such as Ministries/ Departments/ Boards/ Agencies/ Organisations of the Central & State Governments through APIs for delivery of various social security and welfare schemes being administered by themPortability of the social security and welfare benefits to the migrant and construction workersProviding a comprehensive database to Central and State Governments for tackling any National Crises like COVID-19 in future

Any worker who is working in unorganized sector and aged between 16-59, is eligible to register on the e-Shram portal.Each registrant is allocated a Universal Account Number (UAN) and can download UAN card instantly and can avail benefits anytime, anywhere

Registration has started at 29-MartamGPK CSC for PM-KISAN Under the PM-KISAN initiative, all landholding farmers' families would receive financial assistance valued at Rs 6000 per year, payable in three equal installments of Rs 2,000 each every four months. The financial reward would be directly credited to the recipients' bank accounts.
