बाबा अगार जित्तो मंदिर में आए श्रद्धालुओं और मंदिर के बाहर रेहड़ी वालों के बीच किसी बात को लेकर विवाद हो गया। इसके बाद यह विवाद मारपीट में बदल गया। जिसमें पूंछ के तीन श्रद्धालु घायल बताए जा रहे हैं। इस मामले में कटरा पुलिस ने दो से तीन रेहड़ी वालों को हिरासत में लिया है और फिर प्रशासन और पुलिस ने मंदिर के बाहर लगी कुछ अवैध रेहड़ियों पर कार्रवाई करते हुए जेसीबी की मदद से उन्हें ध्वस्त कर दिया।

Police Recovers 34 Rolls of Banned Gattu Thread in Katra

Katra: Katra Police recovered 34 rolls of the prohibited material from the possession of Amit Kumar son of Darshan Kumar resident of Ward No. 11, Matyal, Katra.

The recovery was made by Police Station Katra during a special drive to curb the illegal stocking and sale of nylon string, which poses serious threats to human life, birds and the environment.

In this regard, FIR No. 228/2025 U/S 223 BNS has been registered at Police Station Katra and investigation has been initiated.

DC Reasi Approves 252 Cases under Mission YUVA to Boost Youth Entrepreneurship

Reasi: To strengthen youth empowerment and entrepreneurship, Deputy Commissioner Reasi, Nidhi Malik, IAS today chaired the District Level Implementation Committee (DLIC) meeting to review and approve cases under the Mission YUVA scheme.

At the outset, a detailed discussion was held on the applications received through the Skill and Business Development Unit (SBDU). After thorough scrutiny and evaluation, the committee headed by Deputy Commissioner approved 252 cases for financial assistance and institutional support under the initiative.

रेलवे मंत्री से मिले जनप्रतिनिधि। रियासी में वंदे भारत का स्टॉप व अन्य मुद्दों को उठाया

Delhi/Reasi: MP, Jugal Kishore Sharma along with MLA SMVD Katra, Baldev Raj Sharma, MLA Reasi, Kuldeep Raj Dubey, and DDC Chairman Reasi, Saraf Singh Nag met with Railway Minister, Ashwini Vaishnaw in New Delhi.

The purpose of the meeting was to address various issues and demands of the people and to promote tourism in their constituencies. They raised demands like, a halt for the Vande Bharat at Reasi, increasing coaches and revising timings of the SMVDK - Srinagar Vande Bharat, Vistadome Coach from SVDK to Chenab Bridge for panoramic views of the Khori and Anji bridges, a new Vande Bharat Express between Katra and Chandigarh, extension of DMU services up to Katra & Reasi.

In addition to this, the proposal includes upgrading Shri Mata Vaishno Devi Katra, Railway Hospital with advanced medical facilities, providing Permanent employment / maintenance employment for Locals in Railways especially for land losers & local youths who have born brunts of collateral damages all through over 2 decades during construction works.
