What happens when you blend cinematic sound design, live instrumentation, and pop culture? Magic. ✨

This past Saturday, We are Geekin' had the immense privilege of hosting our experimental "Star Wars Experience" at the Institut français de Maurice (IFM). Our goal was to push the boundaries of live entertainment in Mauritius, and seeing a full house vibrate to a live brass section, heavy guitars, and a surprise lightsaber stunt choreography was a milestone moment for us.

A massive thank you to adrien schwarz and the entire team at Institut français de Maurice (IFM) for your continued trust. One year after our first collaboration, you gave us the perfect canvas to bring this ambitious vision to life.

None of this would have been possible without the insane talent of our musical directors and producers, Gary Mach and Vincent Delord, our live band, the incredible stunt team from Impulsion led by Axel, and our dedicated technical crew (sound, light, and video). You guys are industry standard.

As We are Geekin' approaches its 5th anniversary, this weekend was just the prologue. At the end of the show, I had the honor of announcing our biggest project yet: GeekinCon 2026, the very first multi-universe pop culture convention in Mauritius! We are bringing the Mauritian Geek Renaissance to life on August 1st at IFM.

The Early Bird tickets are already live (link in bio). The creative industries in Mauritius are evolving, and we are thrilled to be part of this journey. 🚀

Whether you’re into specialized skills, getting your degree, or deep-diving into research, this is your chance.

🎓 Available Categories
Specialized Training College: For vocational and technical skills.

Undergraduate Students: For those pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.

Research Students: For Master’s, PhD, or research-based projects.

📝 How to Apply
Download: Get your guidelines and forms from the Official MEXT Application Page.

Prepare: Ensure every form is filled exactly as directed. Incomplete applications are a "Game Over"!

Submit: All documents must be sent via Registered Mail.
