You may look around, zoom in and out and jump from one picture to the next. Some photos allow you to change between day time and night time and some photos even allow you to go back in time at some specific spots...
There are also a few videos available on the website including a timelapse compilation...

Logging in also allows you to Love specific places, say that you've been there and leave a comment/anecdote about the spot.
This is a one-man endeavour and I need your help to spread the beauty of the island which you can do by sharing this post or even the link to the website 😉
If you have any tourism related business, hotel, guest room etc, the virtual tour of your establishment can also be added to the map, so feel free to reach out to me 😉

Surrounded by a sea of sugarcane fields, Butte Aux Papayes in the North, dimly lit against the setting sun, sorta throws the vibes of Mont St Michel... Who would have thought we had such a sight right here in Mauritius?
I took this a couple of days ago, coming back from a trip to the North...

A tribute to the men and women who were UNSTOPPABLE!
Two years ago, amidst an ecological and economical catastrophe, something beautiful and unprecedented happened... thousands of little hands of different shades came together to build a floating armor around the south eastern coastline of Mauritius, effectively halting the movement of oil patches towards our shores...
This is proof that we can all work together to build and protect our lovely country...
This is but a small tribute to all of us who worked together to make this happen... I have plenty of footage from this event, and for the past two years I've been willing to make my own edit to honour this beautiful spontaneous voluntary collaboration that we all witnessed - however, as I've been involved in a number of projects, not the least of which being my Virtual Tour of the island, https://ReubsVision.mu which is freely available to all of you, I haven't been able to release all these clips...
So instead of taking the time to make one big documentary, as was originally planned... I figured I should release my footage in small videos like this one with a motivating background music.. in the present case, Sia's Unstoppable... which is very appropriate, as we TRULY were UNSTOPPABLE..
We were the "INSIGNIFIANTS" ... some powerful people tried to stop us... but we pressed on and we did it... And I personally am proud of what we have achieved as a nation...
Enjoy and share this video... but please do share with the link. Much time and effort has been put into this... so do not reupload...

It's always challenging to capture rainbows with a drone... Out of 10 tries may be just one or two result in a usable capture...
You see due to the ephemeral nature of the rainbow, you need to have quick reaction times, if you see it, you need to immediately stop what you're doing and get the drone in the air... if you're driving and you're thinking I'll stop at the next lay by, forget it, you're going to be out of the visibility zone...
It's either that, or the rain will reach you, and you won't be able to take off as your drone is not waterproof... or the sun will be obscured by clouds and the rainbow will fade... either way, you missed your chance...
Many a time have I seen a beautiful bright colourful rainbow and by the time I've run to get the drone and set it up, it's literally gone before I can take off... and there are also times when I do manage to get it up in the air, like yesterday, in Beau Bassin for example, I was explaining to my cuz how risky the attempt was as the rain might catch on to us... and this is exactly what happened, as soon as the drone was up, the rain was upon us, and all I could do was aim it quickly at the rainbow and bring it down promptly, covered in water droplets that you have to dry immediately in the car...
A major risk for the drone, but when you see the resulting footage, here slowed down by 50%, you know it was well worth the risk...
Cheers and don't forget to visit https://Reubsvision.mu for sheer breathtaking views of our island ;-)
