Noises & is a six-track debut EP that feels like a signal caught between eras, fusing the angular urgency of Magazine with the cool, melancholic drift of Motorama. Built on a DIY foundation, the Kuala Lumpur project leans into fast-paced rhythms, wiry guitars, and driving basslines that rarely sit still. The production embraces its rawness, unpolished, immediate, and intimate. Giving the songs a restless energy that feels both nostalgic and present, like late-night motion through dimly lit streets.
Rather than simply echoing its influences, the EP injects a sharper punk edge: tighter structures, quicker tempos, and a sense of urgency that keeps everything moving forward. Vocals drift between detachment and quiet tension, carrying fragments of urban dislocation and fleeting emotion without ever settling into clarity. As a debut, Noises & doesn’t try to define itself completely, t thrives in that in-between space, suggesting a project more interested in momentum and mood than resolution, and all the more compelling for it.
