We are facing a critical situation due to bandit attacks, and we require immediate assistance. The entire nation, especially Kwara State, is in dire need of help. Recently, bandits carried out three separate attacks on drivers, resulting in their deaths. In LATA, a nearby farm under Patigi Emirates, the driver was fatally shot, and no one was kidnapped. In WODATA, a nearby farm under Lafiagi Emirates, the driver was also shot dead, and no one was taken. Another incident occurred in GBUGBU, a nearby farm under Lafiagi Emirates, where the driver was shot dead, and no one was kidnapped. We are unaware of the reasons behind these attacks, but we acknowledge that nothing is hidden from God. We must remain prayerful and vigilant, as these incidents have created fear in our communities, and the affected farms are close to residential areas. May God protect us and have mercy on the souls of the departed.

NOTICE TO THE PEOPLE OF LADE DISTRICT

The traditional, cultural, and customary practices of Lade District shall be preserved, protected, and administered under the custodianship of Lile Lade, supported by the following recognized divisional heads:

- Lalagi
- Edogi
- Bongi
- Sunkuso
- Gada

Dispute Resolution Mechanism

In the event of disputes within a division, the following steps shall be taken:

1. The divisional head shall attempt to resolve the dispute.
2. If unresolved, two neighboring divisional heads shall convene to resolve the matter amicably.
3. If the issue persists, it shall be escalated to Lile Lade, who, in consultation with the Council of Elders and invited divisional heads, shall render a final decision.

Call to Peace and Unity

We urge all people of Lade District to maintain peace, avoid conflicts, and promote our cherished traditions, unity, and harmony. Legitimate indigenes of the district are expected to support and uphold this directive.

Important Directive

Effective immediately, all matters pertaining to the district shall be resolved internally, without reference to external authorities.
