THE CONVERSATION BETWEEN A MOTHER AND A BABY MOSQUITO
....... So, a baby mosquito ran to it mother shouting and jeering out of excitement.
The inquisitive mother was so curious and moved to know the mystery for its baby's elated moment, so she asked "what is the secret for your excitement and this blazing joy"?
The baby mosquito, after a composed relaxation tells his mother " mom, you won't believe how everyone claps for me as I took a little stroll down town. As I sang the song you taught us; everyone can't just avoid clapping"
He continued..." Some of them even slapped their faces as my song entered their ears. Mom, I will be going out alone by tomorrow again because I really enjoyed my moment of exposure yesterday"
The mother's face turned pale and fainted. And as her flickering lips flipped open, she yelled " shut up son, lower your voice"
The mother was panting as she continued...." My child, they are not clapping for you but they are trying to kill you. Those people hate our songs. You would have been killed for your lack of knowledge boy; this is the one reason I don't want you to step out on your own"
The baby mosquito was quiet and disappointed that his excitement was on a fact that would have been so detrimental to his life.
Lesson
The common saying that we should look before we leap is not out of date yet. Analysing both our successes and failures is key to our next line of action.
If we are not careful in life, what we see as a casting down is literally lifting up and vice versa.
Don't be like the baby mosquito
