BusinessWorld is looking for an Advertising Coordinator!
Job Description:
· Coordinate with internal teams to complete advertising requirements:
— Work with the Circulation Department for complimentary copy requests
— Coordinate with Finance & Billing for ad bookings, reservations, and preparation of contracts or purchase orders
— Liaise with the Editorial Department to ensure proper ad placement based on page layouts (dummies)
· Answer phone calls related to print advertisement inquiries and concerns
· Assist clients with general questions about advertising
· Forward technical or more detailed concerns to the Advertising Manager
· If the Advertising Manager is unavailable:
— Gather the client’s name, company, contact number, email address, and details of their concern
— Make sure the message is passed along clearly and promptly
— Keep records of client communications and advertising transactions organized
— Help ensure advertising schedules and placements run smoothly
Qualifications:
· College graduate (Marketing, Communications, Business, or related course is a plus)
· Experience in advertising, publishing, media, or office/admin work is an advantage
· Organized and detail-oriented
· Comfortable handling documents, bookings, and follow-ups
· Able to work well with different teams and manage multiple tasks
Skills:
· Strong coordination and follow-through
· Professional and friendly phone manner
· Good communication and customer service skills
· Basic computer skills (MS Office, email)
· Good time management
· Team player mindset
