In a major milestone for South Sudan's aviation sector, Air Congo successfully completed its first night-time test flight from Juba International Airport (JIA) to Kinshasa last night. The Boeing 727, which carried 156 passengers, marks a significant step toward enabling regular night operations at the airport.
According to the South Sudan Civil Aviation Authority (SSCAA), the successful flight was made possible by new runway installations and improved ground operations. The operation demonstrates the progress being made at JIA to meet international aviation standards. SSCAA
