Halloween season starts now! 🎃👻

We stopped by the Spirit Halloween Grand Opening in Albuquerque, where Drink It Up LLC was serving spooky-themed drinks complete with “graveyard fog,” and visitors could even meet some reptiles outside the store. Whether you’re already decorating for Halloween or just love everything spooky, it’s officially that time of year.

One of the most memorable evenings we’ve experienced in New Mexico. 🌌

We explored the historic Abó Unit of Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument, learned about its history during a ranger-led tour, looked through telescopes, and even captured a shooting star while photographing the night sky. ☄️📸

Even if you missed the Dark Sky Event, you can still visit this incredible place and walk through the centuries-old mission ruins.

Their next Dark Sky Event is August 14 for the Perseid meteor shower.
