ICYMI; Daveigh Chase, star of "The Ring" and "Lilo and Stitch," has passed away far too young at age 35. R.I.P.

We are saddened to report that Daveigh Chase, the actress who terrified a generation as Samara Morgan in The Ring, has died at 35.

Chase also gave voice to two beloved animated characters: Lilo in Disney’s Lilo & Stitch and Chihiro in the English-language version of Spirited Away. Her other memorable work included Donnie Darko and HBO’s Big Love.

According to her boyfriend, Roy Hernandez, Chase died Tuesday following meningitis and a serious blood infection that led to septic complications.

For horror fans, her pale face, long black hair, and slow emergence from a television became one of the defining images of early-2000s horror.

Our condolences go out to everyone who knew and loved her.

Rest in peace, Daveigh Chase.

BREAKING: Alf star Anne Schedeen has passed away at age 77. R.I.P.

Sad news… Anne Schedeen best known to millions as Kate Tanner on ALF, passed away yesterday on June 14, 2026 at the age of 77.

’80s fans remember Schedeen for her role as the patient and loving mother of the Tanner family on ALF (1986–1990), one of the decade’s most popular sitcoms. As Kate, she helped keep order in a household that suddenly included a wisecracking alien from the planet Melmac.

Before ALF, Schedeen appeared on television series including Emergency!, Three’s Company, and Cheers, building a steady career throughout the 1970s and 1980s. For many fans, however, she will always be remembered as the mom who somehow managed to keep ALF under control.
