🍪✨The Evolution of Dollar Cookie Day ✨🍪

It’s wild to look back at where this little idea started. In the beginning, Dollar Cookie Day was just a fun post in my Facebook group… and I’d make maybe five of each cookie. That was it. A tiny batch In hopes we’d get some feedback for our monthly cookie flavors.

By July 2024, it had grown enough that we moved it to our porch. I started doing it monthly and bumped production up to 70–80 cookies, which felt huge at the time.

Then came May 2025, when we were invited to be part of the First Friday Art Walk. We asked the brewery if we could set up there and that’s when everything really changed. Dollar Cookie Day became a whole experience.

Now? We’re baking around 200 cookies each time and usually have a steady line for 30–45 minutes. It has become one of my favorite parts of this business. It’s something fun, something community-driven, and something that reminds me how far Delicate Delights has come.
