A little personal + bakery update 🤍

If you’ve been following along for a while, you know that I’ve been dealing with some pretty significant hip problems. Well… the time has finally come.

I’m having a hip replacement the first week of October! 🥹

Which means I’ll be taking a little break from baking while I focus on recovering and getting back on my feet.

This is definitely a little scary for me because Delicate Delights is my baby, and baking is such a huge part of my everyday life. But I’m also really looking forward to giving my body the time it needs to heal properly.

I’ll be doing lots of prep before surgery so that everything is as smooth as possible while I’m away, and I’m hoping to be back in the kitchen before the new year! 🎂🍪

As for Troubadours, we will not be taking off until the new year. But expect some time off for about a month following surgery. After that, we will have cookies again 😊

Thank you SO much for supporting my little bakery and for being patient with me during this season. I can’t wait to get back to doing what I love. 🤍

And don’t worry… I’m not going anywhere. Just taking a little time to put myself back together. 😂

A little personal update ❤️

I’ve had quite a few messages lately asking about orders, availability, and upcoming events, so I wanted to make a quick update here rather than continuing to respond individually.

Right now, Delicate Delights is temporarily closed for custom orders. With a very short and incredibly difficult battle with cancer, my mom is currently on hospice. My family is walking through an incredibly difficult and heartbreaking season together. My focus right now needs to be with her and my family.

I truly appreciate every single person who reaches out, supports my business, shares my posts, and continues to think of us. It means more than I can put into words.

I recommend Wicked Whisk Bakehouse, Chloe’s Kitchen, Home Sweet Home Baking Co., & Emily’s Kitchen to take care of your orders. ❤️

Hi everyone! 🍎

First of all, thank you so so much for the love, prayers, patience, and support over the last few weeks. It’s meant more than I can put into words.

As many of you know, my mom has been critically ill over the last few weeks. While I’m still taking things one day at a time, we’re in a season where I’m comfortable to post some baked goods for sale for back to school.

As these next few weeks go by, I’d like to open my schedule for custom orders 1-2 weeks at a time. If you need anything, please don’t hesitate to reach out.

Baking is my happy place. I would LOVE nothing more than to get back to it while also giving myself enough space to navigate being there for my mom as well.

With all that being said, if you’ve read this far, I will be posting back to school cookies this next week 🍎✏️ and IM SO EXCITED.

Hi everyone 🩷

If you’ve noticed Delicate Delights has been much quieter than usual lately, I wanted to share why.

The past few weeks, my family has been walking through an incredibly difficult season. My mom is critically ill. I’ve been spending every moment I can with her. Because of this Delicate Delights has understandably taken a back seat.

Thank you for your understanding in cancelling orders, your patience, and kindness during an extremely difficult time. I’ll continue to share bakery updates when I’m able to. For now, my heart is with my family and most importantly, my best friend…my mom ❤️
