⭐️ Coaches Corner Standouts ⭐️
Some athletes make an impact on the scoreboard. Others make an impact on the culture of a program. Cruz Ivey, Wesley Alley, and Mason Newman do both.
These three Central Heights student-athletes helped lead both the soccer and basketball programs to successful playoff runs this year while balancing the demands of competing in two sports at the same time.
⚽ Cruz Ivey is a dynamic playmaker and leader whose energy, competitiveness, and ability to create opportunities make him one of the most influential athletes on the field and court.
🥅 Wesley Alley serves as the backbone of the soccer team. As goalkeeper, he embraces pressure, leads through selflessness, and provides the consistency every successful team needs.
🏀 Mason Newman brings relentless effort, toughness, and a team-first mindset every time he competes. His determination and willingness to do whatever is needed for the team make him invaluable.
What separates these young men isn't just their athletic ability—it's their commitment. Balancing soccer and basketball simultaneously requires discipline, sacrifice, and maturity. They have proven that with hard work, preparation, and selflessness, success in multiple sports is possible.
Most importantly, they represent the values Central Heights Athletics strives to build: putting others first, competing with toughness and discipline, and leading by example.
Cruz, Wesley, and Mason are outstanding athletes, but even better young men. They continue to shape the culture and success of Central Heights Athletics both on and off the field.
