Pictures tell a story, and what I love most as time passes on, is that even tho people change, and places evolve and change, that image is forever documented, and it won't change. That's my goal, is to document as much of life as possible to look back on.The other thing I love about pictures is that pictures are multilingual...even if people don't speak the same language a picture can still convey the same message.

✨Coffee & obsessing over seeing my photos in a local guide✨

✨QOTD: when you go to a restaurant, are you usually looking for the pictures of what you want to order?? 🤭✨

This is something a little different today but I wanted to share this with yall…back in September I had reach out to me about doing a restaurant shoot for for Volume 1 of our local Scout Guide.

Honestly it’s been a dream and goal of mine to shoot at this restaurant ever since I first went there yeaarrrrssss ago!! And especially since becoming more involved in food photography. So this shoot was an easy yes for me and seeing it in print is so cool 🥹

Im excited to get to do more restaurant shoots for volume two throughout this year 🥰 getting to do shoots like this is probably the coolest part of my photography job 🤭

02/29/2020 - Celebrating 6 years of being married to my favorite person, my best friend and my real life cinnamon roll MMC ((with a touch of morally grey 🤭)) we got married on leap year in 2020 but we are celebrating today

✨QOTD: do you and your significant other ever read together??✨

Fourth Wing and How to Kill a Guy in Ten Dates are the only 2 books we have ever read (well listened) to together and it made me so happy because he loved both!! ((We’re still working our way thru Iron Flame lol))

Yall, I don’t want to get too mushy but this man….he’s just the best, he’s the kind of man I always dreamed of meeting and never thought existed. I still get butterflies with him 🥹

This man is the best husband and dad, we are the luckiest humans to call him ours 🥹🥰

Needless to say, with him I’m living my best life and I’m forever grateful he stalked me on IG all those years ago…but that’s a story for another time 🤭🥰

✨Coffee, breakfast & starting a new book✨

Yalll!!!! I got my first ever PR box from and I couldn’t be more excited!! It came with the cutest goodies but LOOK AT THIS BOOK 😍😍

The cover is gorgeous and I’m already hooked! I just started this morning but the FMC is a photographer ((in case yall didn’t know, I’ve been a photographer for 17 years 🥰)) so I immediately connected!!

Heartbeats by Rebecca Elder is a story of love, loss, grief, and the undeniable beauty of human connection. ✨ if you’re an audiobook girly like me, the duet narrated audio comes out this Valentine’s Day!! 🥰✨

💭 QOTD: what is the next book you plan on picking up to read?? Also, if you could convince me to start any of these books ASAP, which would it be??

Yall I have sooooo many books on my physical TBR it’s not even funny 😂😂 Im trying to build a library tho, that’s my goal for 2026 is to have enough physical books to be considered a library 🤭🤭📚

But obviously I do want to read these books that I buy lol so here are what I’d consider “Top Priority” physical TBR books for 2026, these will be read sooner rather than later this year 🥰

✨2026 Goals, Habits & Intentions✨

💭QOTD: what’s something in 2026 that you have on your own goals, habits and intentions list??

I know, I know, it’s 2 weeks into 2026 and I’m just now posting this, truth be told I’ve been working on this post for over a week but life gets busy and all that.

This year I really want to focus on these things on my list, I know it’s a long list, but these are things that are either super important to me and I really need in my life more or things I’ve been wanting to do/try but just haven’t yet.

The only thing I think I’ll have a really hard time with is screen time, because my job now is literally being on my phone a lot 😂😂 but hopefully I can figure it out. I do spend a big chunk of my day on my phone either filming or posting so, if anyone has suggestions on less screen time in the life of a content creator, please lemme know lol

I did already pick up some books from some new genres and authors, so I’m excited to read those!

Oh and if anyone has any tips on annotating 🫣 please drop them in the comments, I probably won’t annotate every single book I read but I really do want to give that a shot because it looks like I would love it! 🥰

Santa must have thought I was a good girl this year because I got these two books from Sparrow Falls in my stocking this year 🥹 I still need 1 more to complete my collection but I’m SO excited to get into this series from the beginning. I actually read Secret Haven as an ARC and it was a top read from 2025 for me 😭😭

I hope you all have had a wonderful holiday, got some rest and maybe some reading in too, I’m so incredibly grateful for you all!! 🎁🎄✨

🎄✨Seasonal Saturday✨🎄

✨QOTD: How the f*ck is is already 5 days left until Christmas!?✨ 😂😂 ((okay I know that’s not an actual question))

Real QOTD: how are you spending the next few days leading up to the holiday? Are you slowing down, soaking it in? Or are you hustle and bustling until Christmas?? 🎄 what books will you be finishing this week?

I’m *trying* to slow down a bit (doesn’t always work because I film like 10-15 videos a day for my TTS and then trying to keep up with content to share here too 🥹) but I’ve definitely been trying to be a bit more intentional with my time in the mornings to sit down, have my coffee, read a little….have some me time before we get crazy with the day. I’m also going to do a puzzle this week, I got a 1000 piece one I’m going to attempt 😅

I think I’m going to be diving into Tied up In Tinsel this week as one of my last holiday reads of the year 🥰 it looks cute and quick so why not!

This year's set up at Starluck Studio has been so beautiful to photograph with!!! This sweet family's session was one of many I got to capture in the studio and I loved every bit of it!!

Wrapping up 2025, and I'm so grateful to all my clients from this year, 2026 might look a little different as I may not be taking on as many new clients but I am looking forward to what is to come 🫶🏼

Every time I do pictures of my sister’s family, I make sure we recreate the top one 🥹🫶🏼 that one was in 2019 and I can’t believe how big my niece and nephew are now 😭😭😭
