With the rise of streaming, many DJ's, and even some DJ music services are streaming music, rather than actually owning a song. These DJ's, in many cases, are reliant on having a good WiFi signal in order to play.
Streaming music when you're on the go or relaxing is great - streaming music when you're playing someone's first dance song not so much.
At Flamingo Event Services, we own every song that we play. Whether they come from our DJ's only subscription service, or grabbing a special request from an online music retailer, they are always saved locally and backed up on a second computer at every event. We're always ready to play - wifi or no wifi.
