Are you following along on the Summer Reading adventure for the Anson Public Library? Here are two featured reads to go along with our program.

The Artist by Ed Vere
A brave little creator sets off to fill a drab city with color—only to find the real magic isn’t in perfection, but in letting your heart shine through your art. With charming illustrations and a powerful message that mistakes are part of creativity, it’s perfect for budding artists who love to dream big and paint outside the lines.

I Ain’t Gonna Paint No More! by Karen Beaumont, illustrated by David Catrow
Set to the playful tune of a childhood song, this rollicking rhyme follows a mischievous kid who discovers that everywhere can be a canvas—even his own body! Full of vibrant colors, giggles, and clever wordplay, it’s bound to have families singing along and laughing together.

Drop by the library and check out these two colorful stories, plus many more! Be sure and share photos of you and your little ones enjoying summer reading so we can share on social media.
