✨ Rollei 400S // Starlet wedding vibes ✨
There’s just something timeless about black-and-white film on a wedding morning—soft light, twirling dresses, and the quiet moments before the day officially begins.
These were all shot on Rollei 400S, developed and scanned by me, and photographed at the beautiful The Monarch Veil in Sarver, PA. This film has a classic old-Hollywood contrast that makes everything feel a little more cinematic… a little more magical.
From the flower girls spinning in their dresses to the bride writing her vows in the soft glow of the vanity lights—film captures these moments in a way that feels honest and emotional. Nothing staged. Nothing forced. Just the real heartbeat of the day.

📸 Shot on a 121-year-old Kodak No. 3A Folding Brownie 📸
Stepping back in time with this beast of a camera—built in 1904—and brought back to life with a custom 120 film adapter, a little patience, and a whole lot of curiosity.

These frames were created inside the Pittsburgh Mills Mall, using Cinestill 400D, an 80A filter to balance the lighting, and a Tiffen Black Pro-Mist 1/2 for that dreamy halation and glow. Developed and scanned by hand in my studio.

There’s something wild about seeing a century-old lens paint modern scenes. Imperfect, surreal, and honestly… kind of magical.

I recently picked up an old film camera at a local thrift store here in Pittsburgh, PA. When I developed the roll inside, I discovered some incredible found footage of people I don’t recognize.
These negatives have now been scanned and preserved, and I’d love to get them back to the folks who belong to these memories. If you recognize anyone in these photos—or if this sounds like your family/friends—please reach out.
