POV: your wedding photos weren’t made with a preset — they were made with real film.

We shoot a mix of 35mm, medium format, large format, and specialty motion-picture inspired film stocks depending on the feeling of the day.

The candid flash photos? 35mm rangefinder.
The dreamy portraits? Medium format.
The museum-level statement shots? 4x5 large format.
The nostalgic color shifts? Specialty film stocks chosen for your venue, light, and vibe.

Every film photo has its own texture, color, grain, and story — which is why it feels like a memory, not a trend.

Real film. Real cameras. Real wedding nostalgia.

There is no city entrance quite like Pittsburgh.
You crawl through the Fort Pitt Tunnel in total darkness — tile walls, tunnel lights, the hum of the road — and then the mountain splits open and the whole skyline just appears. Every single time. Doesn't matter how many times you've seen it. It gets you.
These frames were all shot on film, just wandering our city with a purpose. That last one — large format 4x5 glass plate work up at the overlook, the kind of shooting that demands you slow all the way down, set up the tripod, focus under a dark cloth, and actually see what you're looking at before you ever press a shutter. There's no burst mode on a 4x5. There's just intention.
Pittsburgh has always been a working city. Gritty, layered, beautiful in a way that doesn't ask for your approval. Film just gets that about it.
We're out here falling in love with this place one roll at a time. 🖤
If you want your Pittsburgh wedding or engagement session captured with that same kind of intentionality — film, digital, or both — we'd love to create something with you.

There's something about shooting on film that slows everything down in the best way possible.
These frames were captured on a Zeiss Super Ikonta 532/16 — a German-engineered folding medium format camera first introduced in 1937 and produced all the way through 1955. That means this camera lived through World War II, was assembled across three cities (Stuttgart, Munich & Jena), and was considered one of the finest precision instruments of its era. Nearly 90 years later, it's still making magic at a wedding reception.
That soft, warm glow you see isn't a preset. It's physics — light bending through glass that predates your grandparents. Vintage glass breathes differently. It renders shadow and highlight with a weight that modern lenses are still trying to replicate.
Shot at the absolutely stunning in Leechburg — those ornate tin ceilings and window light were made for film.
Associate lens magic by the talented 🖤
If you've ever wondered what your wedding could look like through a camera that's older than your family home... let's talk.

Abigail & Matthew wanted a day that felt real — and it showed.
• The laughs
• The chaos
• The moments no one planned
Nothing forced. Nothing staged.
Just a wedding that felt completely like them.
And those are always the best ones.

Seth & Brittany, on film.
No previews, no instant playback—just trusting the moment and letting it unfold. That’s what makes this feel different.

Abigail & Matthew’s entire day was built around real moments — not poses.
• Bridesmaids laughing during getting ready
• The guys just being themselves
• Guests reacting without even noticing the camera
That’s where the magic actually happens.
Nothing forced. Nothing staged. Just a wedding that felt like THEM.
And that’s exactly how it should be.

This is why we love film.

The softness.
The glow in the highlights.
The way light wraps instead of hits.

Seth & Brittany’s day felt less like a wedding…
and more like a scene pulled straight from a movie.

Every frame had intention.
Every shadow had depth.
Every moment felt a little more timeless than the last.

No trends. No distractions.
Just pure atmosphere and emotion captured the way it actually felt.

This is the difference between documenting a wedding…
and telling a story. 🎞️

Same wedding, different moments.
That’s the thing with film—you don’t overshoot, you pay attention. And when you do, you get this.

Shot entirely on film at the Allegheny County Courthouse — this is Seth & Brittany’s day.
There’s something about film that just slows everything down in the best way. Nothing rushed, nothing forced… just real moments as they happened.
