And that’s a wrap on the 8th edition of CNN Experience Japan. We were honored to host clients, partners and media from Japan and beyond for this event and for a special breakfast for CNN’s APAC affiliates. CNN’s CEO & Chairman Mark Thompson spoke at both events about CNN’s strategy and the future of news, and met with key clients and partners during the visit.

CNN’s foremost international business correspondent gave a keynote on the global business outlook and moderated a special tourism panel featuring , , and . Other sessions covered CNN’s storytelling from Japan, interviewing .global’s CMO, and presentations from CNN International Commercial on building brands in a news environment and using technology to power campaigns.

Last Thursday, the CNNIC sales team hosted the CNN Experience event in Manila, Philippines🇵🇭 The event highlighted CNN’s world-class journalism and storytelling, showcasing how CNN helps brands engage with audiences across multiple platforms.

Kicking off the event, CNN’s Senior International Correspondent emphasized the Philippines’ pivotal role in regional growth, sharing highlights from his recent reporting and stories that go beyond breaking news. Joined by Ms. Shereen Gail C. Yu-Pamintuan, Undersecretary for Administration and Finance at , and Mr. Joshua M. Bingcang, President and CEO of the Bases Conversion and Development Authority, Will then moderated a panel discussion on the country’s efforts toward sustainable tourism and economic development.

The event concluded with , CNN’s Executive Producer and Operations Lead, providing insights into CNN’s unparalleled storytelling, particularly in the Philippines, covering topics from travel and food to sustainability. He also shared insights into audience consumption patterns and highlighted the topics that most engage viewers.

Last Friday, CNN International Commercial’s Misaki Nagaya joined as a panelist and engaged in a meaningful discussion on well-being and sustainability in the industry. Alongside leaders from , FICC inc., Sumitomo Life Insurance Company and Hakuhodo Product’s inc., they discussed whether sustainable marketing activities genuinely contribute to consumer well-being, especially in today’s rapidly changing world.

Misaki shared insights from a media perspective, highlighting the role of media in shaping consumer behavior and fostering collaboration with companies to support overall well-being.
