It’s been a tough season for our industry, with the loss of so many remarkable people who’ve shaped the way we tell stories.

Among them, Jackie Burch’s passing hits especially close to home.

We had the privilege of working closely with Jackie for many years. She wasn’t just the legendary casting director whose work helped
define films like The Breakfast Club, Die Hard, Sixteen Candles, and Hidden Figures — she was also our collaborator, and above all, our friend.
She had a sharp wit, an infectious sense of humor, and a playfulness in her candor that drew people to her.

That mix of honesty and impeccable taste is part of what made her such a brilliant casting director. She saw through pretense and straight to the truth of a performance.

She’ll be deeply missed, but remembered with so much affection — not only for her many accomplishments and contributions to the industry, but also for her humor, her honesty, and the spark she brought to every room she entered.

Thank you, Jackie, for the laughs, the memories, and the legacy you leave behind.

We are deeply saddened by the loss of a truly extraordinary member of our creative
community — Craig Miller — whose vision, leadership, and heart helped shape Georgia’s
film and entertainment industry into what it is today.

Craig was a pioneer, a mentor, and a fierce advocate for storytelling in all its forms. As a
founding member and past President of the Georgia Production Partnership, he played a critical role in building the policies and partnerships that turned Georgia into a global
production powerhouse. Through his company, Craig Miller Productions, and decades of
tireless work, he created opportunities for countless creatives — always leading with
purpose, integrity, and compassion.

Whether at events, panels, or behind the scenes on new projects, his presence was a
constant source of encouragement and inspiration. His legacy will endure through the
people he mentored, the stories he helped tell, and the strong, connected community he
helped build.

Honoring the extraordinary life of Col. Bruce C. Taylor (1936–2025) — a true force of strength, talent, and heart. A decorated Marine Corps officer, Bruce served with distinction in Vietnam and retired as a full Colonel. After his military service, he found a second calling in acting and voiceover, building a prolific career with roles in The Righteous Gemstones, Atlanta, Sweet Magnolias, and as the unforgettable “CEO of Adult Swim.”

Bruce was a beloved member of the FORMATION family — a consummate professional, endlessly witty, and a joy to work with. He inspired others with his unwavering dedication to excellence. His legacy is one of courage, creativity, and connection. We are grateful to have known him, and he will be deeply missed. 🕊️ 🧡
