This August, we’re celebrating our long-standing client Sandra Lafferty (Sandra Lafferty) — a remarkable actor whose career is a testament to talent, perseverance, and the idea that there’s no “right” age to chase what you love.

From her award-winning work on the stage to memorable roles in films including Walk the Line, The Hunger Games, Prisoners, Self/less, A Walk in the Woods, and most recently The Rivals of Amziah King, Sandra has built an incredible career spanning more than three decades.

After beginning her film career at 50, Sandra went on to work alongside some of Hollywood’s biggest names while continuing to embrace independent film, television, theater, and the next generation of performers.

Beyond the screen, Sandra continues to give back through her work with the Alabama Film Commission, the NACC advisory board, and the Mentone Arts & Cultural Center, where she mentors high school theater students.

And we can’t forget one especially fun hometown honor: Sandra has a star on the Fort Payne Walk of Fame — currently sharing the distinction with the legendary country group, Alabama. ⭐

We’re proud to celebrate Sandra, her incredible body of work, and the many chapters ahead. 🧡

This month, we're proud to spotlight the incredibly talented Miles Mussenden (Miles Mussenden)!

From memorable performances in Marvel's Cloak & Dagger, Tulsa King, The Walking Dead, The Blacklist, and most recently Cape Fear, Miles has built a career bringing authenticity, depth, and heart to every role.

Beyond acting, Miles is an accomplished filmmaker. His feature directorial debut, Homage, premiered as an Official Selection of the 30th American Black Film Festival, earned multiple Caribbean Film Award nominations including Best Director, Best Feature Film and Caribbean Film of the Year while continuing to gain momentum with audiences.

Whether he's in front of the camera or behind it, Miles is passionate about telling compelling stories, creating opportunities for others, and building projects with lasting impact.

From discovering her love of performing at just five years old to entertaining guests at Walt Disney World and now captivating audiences across the country, Arielle's journey is a reminder that every step along the way matters.

After moving to Atlanta in 2021, she appeared in numerous commercials and took on small roles across film and television. Then came the audition that changed everything.

Landing the role of Naomi Hamilton Hawthorne on Beyond the Gates (Beyond the Gates) marked a breakthrough, proving that persistence, preparation, and passion can open the door to life-changing opportunities. As part of the first new daytime soap opera in 25 years—and the first hour-long soap centered around a predominantly Black cast—Arielle is helping make television history!

We're incredibly proud to celebrate Arielle and can't wait to see what's next. Be sure to catch her as Naomi on Beyond the Gates, airing weekdays on CBS and streaming on Paramount+!

With a career spanning across decades of film and television, Steve has built a body of work defined by consistency, versatility, and unforgettable performances, becoming one of those familiar face's audiences recognize. Whether appearing in acclaimed dramas like “The Walking Dead”, cult-favorite franchises like “The Conjuring”, or Academy winning films like “Oppenheimer”, his presence on screen has left a lasting impression on audiences everywhere.

Beyond acting, Steve is also an accomplished writer and creative force behind the scenes, serving as head writer for Tyler Perry's “House of Payne” and “Meet the Browns”, where he helped shape over 100 episodes and earned two consecutive NAACP Image Awards for Best Comedy Series.
