One night, two visions of power and imagination.
The The Atlanta Opera reimagines Philip Glass’s “La Belle et la Bête” as a live-to-film experience at Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre
Meanwhile, the Atlanta Film Society screens the newly restored 4K version of “The Spook Who Sat by the Door,” the 1973 classic directed by Ivan Dixon and written by Sam Greenlee.
Both works — one mythic, one radical — remind us how art continues to challenge, move, and transform.
