Augusta we need to admit and stop ignoring we have a serious homeless unhoused problem. This veteran makes some good points. I also would like to encourage and motivate local churches and nonprofits make it their own mission to start taking people off the street through providing funding and creating life saving life changing programs.

One of the best hidden gems in Augusta, Ga. Is cruising down the Savannah River at sunset. There is a private boat charter service that you can rent for birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions etc. for 1 - 2 hours. It is definitely a must do!

You can’t go wrong with a breakfast at New Moon Cafe 936 Broad St. Downtown Augusta! I enjoyed a delicious egg, cheese, grits with apple wood bacon scramble bowl. Not to mention, they have their own house-made jam made from a variety of fresh fruits. Then place that on their croissant bread and boy shut up!!! The Original New Moon Cafe
