Early voting 🗳️ has begun for Prop Q, a tax rate election, which essentially means that City Council is asking voters (that’s you!) permission to raise property taxes in order to fund a slate of new services. You now get to decide if those services are worth the cost, if you can afford the tax increase, and whether or not you feel the city is investing our property taxes in the right places. The choice is yours!
To help you understand all the issues at play and exactly what you’ll be voting on, we’ll be publishing explainer videos like this all week, laying out what Prop Q will fund if passed. Click the link in bio for even more voter resources.
