NUNAR was on the ground photographing and talking to some of the familiar faces who showed up.

EXHALE, VOLUME 2 IS HERE 📗 Ending the year with the highly anticipated second installment of his Exhale series, we’re revisiting our July 2025 cover story with .whatever. In the interview, the artist and creative director offered a glimpse into what to expect from the new photo volume.

“Volume One is probably 98% film. I shoot more digital now, but the next book will be a mix—still a lot of film, but also some medium format digital.”

The volume spans over 140 pages of black-and-white photography, presented in both a hardcover and a mini book.

Swipe to watch Madera’s newly released performance art piece for the volume, inspired by Palestinian artist Mona Hatoum.
