The East Baton Rouge Parish School System is seeing real progress in our schools. Under the leadership of Superintendent LaMont Cole, the district achieved its highest School Performance Score ever at 72.4 percent, with 88 percent of direct-run high schools improving and 11 schools growing by a full letter grade.
There is more work to do, but this momentum shows what is possible when students, families, and educators move forward together.
