Today, Tiger TV broadcasts on tigertv.tv reaching the Baton Rouge community and the globe. Tiger TV offers students the experience to work as a camera operators, reporters, producers, programmers, on-air personalities and even managing positions. Tiger TV operates out of the basement and first floor of Hodges Hall, where the office, master control room and newsroom are located. Tiger TV airs using
a state-of-the-art facility and offers more than eight hours of daily programming. Tiger TV produces a newscast, a sports show and entertainment minutes. Contrary to popular belief, Tiger TV is not limited to mass communication majors who have previous television experience. In fact, Tiger TV accepts applications from all LSU students who meet university requirements. Tiger TV offers hands-on experience to students interested in perusing a career in television, and many former Tiger TV employees now work in the television industry across the country.
