Good Morning
Here is a lovely Osprey coming straight towards me with his fresh catch, its talons tightly grasping the struggling fish. They are such amazing fishermen, with their sharp eyesight and agility, it's no wonder they're at the top of their game. The way they dive into the water with precision and emerge with their prize is truly a sight to behold! 🦅🎣

Fun Facts: Even though osprey are amazing fishermen, they say 25% to 70% of their dives, average strike-to-catch time of 12 minutes ,experienced adult birds have been recorded with a hunting success rate as high of as 90%, but while young juveniles have a low success rate around 5%.

I'm thrilled to share with you this stunning capture of a Beautiful Female Barred Owl, she was peeking behind the tree, checking me out, and I couldn't help but feel like I was being surveyed by a curious and wise creature. I'm absolutely in love with the warm, golden sunset tones that illuminate the entire scene, and those dancing bokeh balls add a touch of magic to the atmosphere. It's moments like these that remind me of the beauty and wonder of the natural world. ❤️🦉🥰

Fun Facts: Barred usually live around 8 to 10 years, the oldest barred owl was 24 years old.

Fun Facts: Developed in the Pacific Northwest by the Nez Perce Tribe, this uniquely American breed is highly versatile. Beyond their distinct appearance , Appaloosas are easily identified by their mottled skin, vertically striped hooves and prominent white eye sclera. It gets its name from The Palouse River , which runs through the traditional territory of the New Perce, Early white settlers called them " Palouse Horses " Which gradually slurred into the word Appaloosa.

Good Morning
I just had to share this adorable moment with you all. Here is a little Barred Owlet learning to use its tiny wings, it sure had a lot of determination and perseverance. The way it's flapping its wings and trying to lift off is just too cute! 😊 It's amazing to think about how this little ball of fluff will soon be soaring through the trees, catching its own prey and living its best life. 🦉❤️

Fun Facts: When this little one was just an egg, from day 1, it takes 4 to 5 weeks to get to this stage to flee the nest. Once they branch out, they will climb, jump, and use their beaks and talons to get around from tree branches, as they can't fly until they are around 10 to 12 weeks of age, which is when they will begin learning to fly and watching their parents to learn how to hunt. They will stay with their parents up to 4 to 6 months total .

Happy Fox Friday, everyone! 🦊🥰 It's almost the weekend, and I hope everyone has a fantastic one filled with adventure, relaxation, and quality time with loved ones. I just can't get enough of these stunning red foxes, with their vibrant fur and playful personalities. I'm really hoping to spot some this year, as I only have a few Fox Fridays left for all of you to enjoy 😁. I've been thinking, might have to start posting my horses on Fridays instead of foxes, but I'm not sure if they can compete with the charm of these little creatures. On that note, I'm absolutely smitten with this little one standing here and posing for the camera. Look at those loving eyes, they just melt my heart! ❤️ I can almost sense the curiosity and intelligence behind that adorable face. I wonder what's going through its mind, maybe it's thinking about its next meal or planning its next adventure. Whatever it is, I'm sure it's something fascinating. 🦊❤️

Here's a breathtaking Short-Eared Owl giving me an unforgettable stare with those bright yellow eyes, which are giving me direct eye contact, adding to the mystique of this enchanting moment. The fall colors - rusty reds, burnt oranges, and honey-gold hues - create a stunning contrast. I'm mesmerized by the owl's regal presence. What a truly unforgettable experience! 🦉️🥰

Fun facts: Short-Eared Owls are some times called the Mascara Look , They have heavy black rings around their yellow eyes- they look permanently made up to help reduce glare during their daytime hunts.
