Beauty is a silly, fun-loving girl with a lot of energy and a lot of affection. She didn’t know how to walk on a leash when she came in with her sister (who’s since been adopted), but her manners have improved so much since she’s been getting regular walks. She’ll be even better with a family who takes care of her every day. She’s adorable, silly, and a bundle of fun! An adoption event coming up on May 30th, at Family Chimney Sweeps in St. Joseph.

They are actively looking for more foster homes for our adoptable dogs right now, as well as volunteers for dog-walking. Our applications are live online (https://www.berriencounty.org/211/Animal-Services), or can be filled out in person.

An upcoming free vaccine and microchip clinic at the Eau Claire Fire Department (6265 Main St., Eau Claire MI, 49111), Saturday June 13th, 9am to 1pm. Vaccines for Rabies, Bordetella, and Distemper and Parvovirus are all free to residents of Berrien County, and we can microchip cats and dogs for free as well. Registration is required in advance, and is available online at https://www.berriencounty.org/1886/Vaccine-Clinics.

It's the Mason Jar Cafe Furry Friend of the Week!

Stu is a 2-year-old cat with a goofy personality, a lot to say, and absolutely no interest in blending into the background. This affectionate guy loves being the center of attention and will happily let you know when he thinks you should be paying more attention to him. (Which is often.) One of Stu’s favorite activities is hanging upside down from the cat tree like a tiny furry acrobat. He keeps life entertaining and always seems to find a way to make people laugh. Stu is truly the total package: social, playful, affectionate, and full of personality. He’s the kind of cat people picture when they imagine the perfect feline companion, equal parts cuddly best friend and entertaining little weirdo. If you’re looking for a cat who will keep you company, keep you laughing, and make himself right at home, Stu is ready to meet you. Whether you’re racing for a personal best or just out for a relaxed stroll with your dog, this event is a great way to support the animals at Al-Van Humane Society.
